CCS Meeting Was Convened After the Pulwama Attack, Government Will Take Bigger Steps in View of Security
44 CRPF personnel was martyred in the Pulwama attack, now the government is contemplating to take stringent action against terrorism.
A meeting of the Cabinet Committee on Security (CCS) was convened in the morning under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In the meeting, besides the Prime Minister, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Defense Minister Nirmala Sitaraman, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley were also present.
Chief of the three services and National Security Advisor Ajit Doval also participated in the expedition.
Further action was discussed in the meeting and in particular, the security arrangements in Jammu and Kashmir were considered.
